ELDOA™ is a French acronym (Étirements Longitudinaux avec Decoaptation Ostéo Articulaire), which in English translates to LOADS Longitudinal Osteo-Articular Decoaptation Stretching. “Osteo-Articular” relates to the bones and joints, “decoaptation” is a term used to describe the reduction of compression.
ELDOA™ is a revolutionary technique created by the renowned French Osteopath Dr. Guy Voyer. ELDOA™ is an exercise practice integrating myofascial stretching and global tension to create space and precisely address any chosen vertebral disc or joint. The ELDOA™ postures are very specific compared to other techniques to zone in on the various fascia lines to improve the balance of tensegrity. The myofascial stretching and tension in unison, the “ELDOA™,” not only decompress a joint, but increases muscle tone.

After taking my first ELDOA™ class I knew it was something I wanted to integrate into my life forever. I need to be active, and I love my career. I was starting to question my future as a massage therapist because I was suffering from nerve pain down the right leg, chronic back and hip pain with numbness into my right wrist. After studying ELDOA™ for few months I was no longer in chronic pain. I had regained symmetry from my repetitive work patterns turned to dysfunction.
